Susan Christoffersen is a TFHA alumna who received the prestigious award in 1985. Over the past 40 years, she has led a remarkable career and life. A distinguished scholar, she made history as the first woman to serve as Dean of the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Her leadership, dedication, and mentorship have inspired countless students and colleagues.

Susan’s commitment to the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award program has been extraordinary. She served as a provincial interviewer for three to four years, held a seat on the Board from 2003-2018—including a decade as Treasurer—and played an integral role in securing $10 million in federal funding for TFHA. She even helped organize the Terry Fox Run in Westmount, Québec, for several years to help further Terry’s legacy and the Foundation’s mission.
