Her impactful work has earned her multiple awards. In 2020 she was named a United Nations Fellow for People of African Descent.

L’ancienne élève de 2016, Kharoll-Ann Souffrant, porte plusieurs chapeaux – travailleuse sociale, conférencière, chroniqueuse, essayiste et chargée de cours, tout en poursuivant son doctorat en travail social à l’Université d’Ottawa.
Son travail remarquable lui a valu de nombreuses récompenses. En 2020, elle a été nommée boursière des Nations Unies pour les personnes d’ascendance africaine.
