The Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program produces a newsletter 3 times a year entitled "The Golden Thread." It is comprised of submissions from our current recipients, alumni, Board Members and staff. The submissions range from inspirational stories, poetry, works of fiction, artwork, humour, and others. The Golden Thread is a testament to the humanitarianism, selflessness, tenacity, and spirit of the many outstanding young people who have won this award.

The name of the newsletter comes from an article entitled "The Golden Thread" written by the Terry Fox Program's first executive administrator, Mr Dalton J. McGuinty Sr. The full text of this article may be found here.
