Chelsea devotes much of her time to humanitarian volunteer work. She has given her time to help with the Terry Fox Run and the CIBC Run for the Cure and to the Victoria General Hospital as a Candy Striper. She has also volunteered with Project Respect at the Victoria Women’s Sexual Assault Centre and with Outspeak! where she helped to raise awareness for substance abuse. Presently she dedicates much of her time to Speak-Up, an organization she runs which allows peers to meet and talk about their struggles with cancer.
Chelsea is currently studying to become a Nurse at Camosun College.

“Chelsea has shown commitment to her community through her continuous volunteering. She is always eager to help out and never fails to be on time. Her natural ability to care for others will allow for her to become a well-rounded, caring, professional nurse in the future.”
